On an elevated position, between the towns of Flayosc and Draguignan, surrounded by olives trees, stands a stone bastidon from the 17 century fully restored. This secluded rural stone house full of character will charm you and bring you peaceful and quiet moments for your holiday in Provence.

House description:

- Vaulted living room including a pellet stove, a sofa, and a TV (TV channels from the internet via a chromecast).

-Modern kitchen, induction hob, kitchen island with sink and dining area with counter stools, oven etc.

-1st floor: a double bed 140 opening in a bathroom with shower and WC.

-2nd floor: a 180 king size double bed.

-Terrace: parasol, dining area, garden lounge set, 2 garden sun chairs, gas BBQ Grill "campingaz"

Important information:

- The bastidon dates from the 17th century : The stairs is old, and the steps are high and narrow. Due to safety reasons, the house is not suitable for young children.

- The house is in a "loft style" : There is no doors between the rooms. All the rooms communicate with each other including the bedrooms. There is only one toilet, in the bedroom of the first floor. For this reason, this house is more suitable for a couple or a close family.

- There are no air conditioners but there are fans in each room and mosquito nets too.

- The water heater has a small capacity. Although, it heats continuously and recharges quickly (a dial indicates the number of showers available) we recommend that you space the showers.

- We love animals, your pets are welcome here!

In high season, the booking is set up for a duration of 7 nights minimum, from Saturday to Saturday. However, it is possible to customise the dates of arrivals/departure in winter/fall/spring seasons (Please contact us by message if you would like to do so).

Travelers have access to the entire accommodation.

The bastidon is located on the hillside facing the village of Flayosc. Neighbors are few in number and spaced each others by the olive trees plantations. No overlooked. Privileged location 5 minutes by car from Draguignan and Flayosc where you will find shops and restaurants.

The bastidon is ideally placed between mountains and sea, 45 minutes from the beaches (Sainte-Maxime) and 45 minutes from the Gorges du Verdon (Les-Salles-Sur-Verdon).

There is a TGV station in Les Arcs (15 min), a bus station in Draguignan (10 min), an airport in Nice (1h) and Marseille (1h30).

This is an area filled with perched medieval villages, outstanding natural beauty, rolling hills of olive groves, renowned vineyards and wine châteaux (Château de Berne amongst many others) as well as historic sites (Abbaye du Thoronet and Entrecasteaux castle is just 30 min away). Saint-Tropez (1h), Moustiers-Sainte-Marie (1h), and Sillans-La-Cascade (30 min) are typical renowned provencal towns amongst many others that you could visit in the surrounded.

The diversity of the landscapes means there’s a wealth of outdoor activities available including hiking, cycling and watersports both on the French Riviera and Verdon Gorge.

All the rooms communicate with each other including the bedrooms. There is no doors. There is only one bathroom (and one toilet) and you have to go through the bedroom on the 1st floor to access it.
